A bizarre, funny and oddly moving anthem of place, space, and identity in America, PAGEANT consists of 59 one-minute playlettes representing every state and territory in the US of A. Performances are installed through-out the Ohio Theatre beginning at 8 PM and will only last for about an hour – feel free to grab a drink and wander around as there’s much to see. Party to follow.

Clubbed Thumb held an open call for one-minute plays to represent each state, territory and group of uninhabited islands under U.S. jurisdiction. We asked people to begin with some simple questions: Where were you born? Where do you live now? Where are you from? Is there a place that serves as your muse? The response was fantastic! So much so, that we are simply unable to do every piece that was submitted. A huge thank you to everyone who sent us a one-minute piece for consideration!
